STATIC proudly presents Brooklyn's own YOUNG M.A, with various special guests, live in concert on Thursday, March 21, in the HUB Ohio Room. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 8:00 p.m.
I-Card and public tickets are available. I-Card tickets can be purchased in person at the KCAC Box Office. Tickets for the general public can be purchased in person at the KCAC Box Office or online. Tickets are $10 with an I-Card, or $20 for the general public, plus all applicable fees.
According to the artist’s biography, “Katorah Marrero, better known by her stage name Young M.A, is an American rapper and entrepreneur. She first gained notoriety with the release of the now triple-platinum 2016 hit single, "Ooouuu", breaking the Billboard Top 10, boasting 150,000 radio spins and 289 million YouTube views of the music video.”
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT UPDATES AND REMINDERS REGARDING THIS CONCERT:
Pratt Drive, from the entrance of the Whitmyre Hall Loading Dock to the Pratt Circle cul-de-sac near PNC Bank, will be closed to vehicle traffic from 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, to 2:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22, due to the Young M.A Concert in the HUB Ohio Room.
Additionally, Building 1 of the HUB Complex (which includes the Ohio Room, Business Office, PNC Bank, I-Card Office, and all other meeting rooms) will close in preparation for the concert at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21. All patrons wishing to queue for the concert must do so in the designated line formation area on the HUB Front Patio, outside of the front doors. HUB Complex Buildings 2 and 3 (which include the Commuter Lounge, Computer Lounge, The Penn, HawkHUB Food Court, Fitness Center, and Gymnasium) will remain open as regularly scheduled.
Doors for the concert will open at 7:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are available in person at the KCAC Box Office, or online.
As a reminder to the IUP community and our ticket purchasers:
Arrive early. If you want to get into the HUB Ohio Room by the time the show begins, plan on arriving before 7:00 p.m. when the front doors open.
Everyone will enter through electronic screening. Please be prepared for processing, and bring as few personal items with you as possible. You must have your tickets ready and waiting in order to enter electronic screening. Those without tickets may not enter the HUB whatsoever.
The following items are prohibited at HUB concerts: food and beverages, alcohol, drugs, weapons, knives, selfie sticks, professional cameras, video cameras, lighters, bags, purses, and backpacks. No exceptions.
Please be advised that this concert is GA-SRO (general admission, standing room only), and will use haze and strobe lighting effects. Those with respiratory or seizure disorders, or other medical conditions exasperated by such factors, are encouraged to be aware of their environment and to immediately report any emergencies, medical or otherwise, to event staff or security personnel.
