The Intersection of Pop Culture & Politics: An Evening with Mike Muse

  • HUB Ohio Room 319 Pratt Drive Indiana, PA, 15701 United States (map)

Fashion, music, entertainment, advertising, sports, news, social media, technology, food. Pop culture matters to you. But how does pop culture impact politics, and vice versa?

Join STATIC as we present The Intersection of Pop Culture & Politics: An Evening with Mike Muse, live in the HUB Ohio Room, on Thursday, September 27th.

This is a free event. No tickets are required for entry. However, seating is limited to the first 400 people, so be sure to arrive early enough to claim a seat! Doors for the event will open at 7:00 p.m. and the show will begin shortly thereafter. Mike will stay for a meet-and-greet with the audience after the event concludes.

Straight from SiriusXM and TEDx Talks, Mike Muse, a former industrial engineer and co-founder of Muse Recordings record label, explores the intersection of pop culture and politics, attempting to dissect where we are as a nation, how we got here, and where we can possibly go. Most profoundly, he engages with college students to more meaningfully translate politics through lenses that you understand and care about: namely, pop culture. Muse believes that our current generation of college students are poised to change the nation through democracy. Click here to check out Muse’s website.

Members of the #IUPVotes initiative will also be on site to help interested students register for the upcoming midterm elections in November!

This event is completely free!
